Before founding Aging Matters International (AMI) and TheCaregivingJourney.com in 2016, Debbie lived and worked in Japan for 30 years, where she founded and built a market research consultancy; she continues to translate consumer research into the clear strategic direction for Fortune 500 global clients and innovative start-ups, primarily in Age-Tech.


During her time in Japan, Debbie also served as President and Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) from 2004-2007, and continues to serve as President Emeritus (2008~present), advocating for regulatory reforms to help international businesses succeed in Japan.
